Places to go and things to see!

Throughout the Indian Lake, Blue Mountain Lake and Sabael region, visitors can find adventure, unique and exciting attractions, sports and recreation, as well as cultural events and experiences.

There are museums that will take you back in time to travel the Adirondack wilderness...where the past is revisited as guide boats are launched into clear mountain lakes, the fragrance of a sugarbush fills the air, and great camps and resort hotels come to life. There are arts center exhibitions, crafts demonstrations, performances, children's events and workshops for adults.

Shops and galleries are found throughout the area, featuring the work of Adirondack-inspired painters, photographers, potters, authors, jewelers, quilters and furniture makers. You'll find antique shops, outfitters and sporting goods stores, in addition to general stores brimming with favorite merchandise.

Our four-season vacation destination and your spirit of adventure are a natural combination. There are guided hunting, fishing, cross country skiing, canoeing and hiking excursions. A seaplane flight will reward you with lofty vistas and access to wilderness fishing, hunting and camping. Looking for whitewater? Come for the thrill of a rafting trip down the exciting Hudson River Gorge.

Any time of the year, you'll find it here...great golf courses, public beaches, skating and skiing facilities. And to make your day complete, check out a movie at our theatre...or visit a local library to find that perfect book you can curl up with next to the fireplace.

When it's time to enjoy all the Adirondacks has to offer, Indian Lake, Blue Mountain Lake and Sabael is the place to go...and we've got the fun to prove it
