Cabin At Lake SnowA post & Beam Chalet with tongue-in-groove knotty pine throughout, 2 bedrooms downstairs and one extra large bedroom upstairs. The living room (Greatroom) has a cathedral ceiling and two sliding glass doors which lead to a large screened-in porch with a grill and picnic table. All linens are supplied. There is a fireplace with firewood, full kitchen, and full bathroom. A color TV with satellite is in the living room.
The house is in a quiet, secluded neighborhood. The lake is a short walk from the house. Lake Snow is a private lake which is about 1 1/2 miles long. No motor boats are allowed, just canoes, rowboats and sailboats. There is a dock to swim and fish from. Besides our lake there are many lakes very close to us. Indian Lake, Blue Mountain Lake both have marinas. The Adirondack Museum is a short drive from us.
WE RENT YEAR ROUND In the summer we have the lake, swimming, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and the Adirondack Museum. In the fall we have hunting and fall foliage. In the winter there is cross country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and Gore Mountain ski center. In the Spring we have white water rafting down the Hudson River. Our house is located in a secluded area in the mountains with many lakes, hiking trails, fishing spots and beautiful mountain views.
