Wakely Pond

Wakely Pond

This pond is small but fun to explore.

Getting there

From the intersection of Route 28 and Route 30 in Indian Lake follow Route 28/30 toward Blue Mountain Lake. Continue for just over 2.25 miles and turn left on Cedar River Road. Follow that for 11.3 miles to the pond and the Northville/Placid Trail on the right. There is limited parking here.

Fishing

There is ample access to the shore from Cedar River Road and via short spur trails from the Northville/Placid Trail on the northeast side. Only canoes and kayaks are permitted at this primitive boat launch.
