Fall Events

We are just as sad as you that summer seems to be coming to an end far too quickly. However, just because summer is almost over, it doesn't mean the fun has to stop! There are tons of great events continuing through the fall!

Rustic Furniture Fair: September 9 and 10, 2017 Rustic Furniture Fair Adirondack Experience

The Rustic Furniture Fair takes place at Adirondack Experience, The Museum on Blue Mountain Lake. Here you can see rustic handmade furniture, furnishings, and Adirondack paintings. While you are at it, do a little shopping. There will be renowned artisans from all over the country showcasing their one-of-a-kind creations. 

Adirondack Mountains Antiques Show: September 13-17, 2017 

Adirondack Mountains antique show.

This event, held in Indian Lake, is exactly what it sounds like! Indian Lake is taken over by antique vendors selling things from boats to furniture to taxidermied animals.

Inlet Fall Festival: September 15 and 16, 2017Inlet Fall Fest

This year, Inlet will host their 24th annual Fall Festival in Fern Park. Over 50 vendors are expected. Here you can find jewelry, furniture, home goods, and more. They even have activities for the kids, raffles, live music, and food!

Course the Wall Trail Run: September 17, 2017

This trail run is held at Lapland Lake in Benson. It is a 5K or 9K trail run, both of which course The Wall (a short but steep hill!) at the end of the course. Register for this race and you will also get a free T-shirt and entry to the post-race barbecue! 

Long Lake Boat Regatta: September 23, 2017 

Long Lake Boat Regatta

This annual regatta kicks on at the Long Lake Town Beach at 10 a.m. Spectators are highly encouraged to attend and watch the war canoes and C4 boats race to the south end of the lake and back toward Round Island.

Great Adirondack Moose Festival: September 23 and 24, 2017 Great Adirondack Moose Festival

The Great Adirondack Moose Festival has fun for all ages and is designed to offer a purely Adirondack experience! Activities include guided hikes, a moose calling contest, crafters and vendors, an old-fashioned turkey shoot, and more!

Harvest Craft Fair: October 7, 2017

The Long Lake town hall will play host the Harvest Craft Fair, sponsored by the town of Long Lake. Vendors will be on hand selling handcrafted goods.

Adirondack Kids Day: October 7, 2017

 Adirondack Kids Day

This annual Inlet event is one not to miss if you have kids. There are activities from paddling to face painting to horseback riding, and more. They even have a fishing derby for the kids to take part in.
