Annual Speculator/Lake Pleasant Polar Plunge
Ring in the New Year with a cool, fresh start!
Join the fun for the Annual Speculator/Lake Pleasant Polar Plunge! All are welcome to plunge, and spectators are welcome and encouraged.
At the Fire Department's noon siren, plungers will take a brisk dip in the river located next to the Speculator Pavilion.
- When: Wednesday, January 1, 2026
- Where: Boat Launch at the Speculator Pavilion and Park
- Donations from the polar plunge will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.
- After the plunge, warm up at the Lemon Tree Brewery with hot chocolate!
