Sweetheart Dessert Contest and Tasting
The community’s favorite dessert contest and tasting is back, sweeter than ever!
It’s time to dust off your cookbook, tie on your apron, and show off your best dessert creations.
The Old Forge Library will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with its popular Annual Sweetheart Dessert Contest on Tuesday, February 10.
Contest Details:
- Entries will be accepted in 4 categories: Child, Teen, Adult, and Professional.
- Entries will be judged on creativity, presentation, and taste, with local couples Trae & Ali Skinner and Tim & Catherine Quarles leading the effort to judge this year's entries.
- To participate, prepare your favorite dessert and bring it to the library between 10 am and 1 pm on Tuesday, February 10.
- Community members are invited to a dessert sampling reception at 5:00 p.m.
- Contest winners will be announced at the reception - winners will receive prizes, and serious bragging rights!
