If you're looking for a spot to hold a reunion for a large family of 20-50 people, consider scheduling a private charter on the WW Durant. They can customize a menu for your gathering and also have a full bar on board. After enjoying your meal in the galley, head to the top deck with your cocktail to enjoy the views of Raquette Lake. For smaller groups, check out their regularly scheduled cruises, including Sunday Brunch Cruises and a Lunch Buffet Cruise!

If your family is more of the outdoors type, pack up a picnic lunch and head to John Dillon Park in Long Lake. Reservations are required for overnight camping, but there are three day use areas if you're just looking to have a picnic. The entire area is free to use and is fully accessible. There are over three miles of hiking trails and you can even bring your canoes and kayaks to head out on Grampus Lake to fish.

Another great option for a family reunion is The Hedges in Blue Mountain Lake. From rooms in the main lodge, to cabins and family friendly suites, or adult only units, there is room here for the whole family. The dining lodge has spectacular views of Blue Mountain Lake, and a full cooked to order breakfast, four course dinner, and an evening snack are included in the daily room rate. There are also boats, beaches, tennis courts, and more for your whole family to have fun!
